Reception staff were very helpful and pleasent throughout our stay, Rooms were good if a little dated! Hotel itself is just a little out from the centre of Blackpool but a tram line just outside is conveniant and runs every 10 minutes. |

The hotel room was depressing and very "tired". Not worth £85 per night! |

We stayed in a family room in what seemed to be a 1970's annex The room is in dire need of an upgrade The bunk beds were metal and not safe for young children The double bed and bedding needs to be changed The window had mould around the frame and there was dust along the skirting The room was not hoovered during our 6 night stay The bath panel had cracks and there was brown stuff leaking between there and the bath. The ladies showers in the Health Club absolutely stank of what I can only surmise to be of stale shampoo and conditioner in the drains. They charge £1 to hire a towel! The cinema was out of order for the first night and the games room left alot to be desired The pool tables cloth was ripped and stained and they also charged £3 per cue for hire! Not a suitable hotel for a family with teenagers. The only saving grace for this hotel is its proximity to the beach and transport! I was made aware by another guest that this hotel has recently been taken over by the Brittania group and are supposed to be updating the building. |

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in so far. Our rooms (Room nos 090 & 096) were disgusting. The decor was bland and dirty, the wall paper was falling off the walls, the plaster was coming away from the ceiling. The drawers and cupboards were filthy, the TV was something from the dark ages and the signal was bad. The bathroom was the worst, it had mould all round the tiles, the bath had permanent stains. We hired an iron and board for our stay even though it said one was supplied in the room. The hire charge was £5 but it should of been free as we did not use it because the board had more stains on it than the bath. The hotel itself desparately needs make over, the windows were dirty and the decor horrible. The pool was below standard and had 'bits' floating in it. At breakfast time if you were not there for 7.30 am they continually ran out of food or plates or glasses. When you asked for these things to be replaced (as you were waiting to eat) the staff were ignorant and not helpful. If it wasn't for the entertainment available in Blackpool for the kids were would of returned home immediately. I advise you all to not stay in the Norbreck Hotel in Blackpool. The worst hotel there!!! |
