Absolutely fantastic place - I would definitely recommend this hotel to any wishing to stay here. Unfortunately I was only in the hotel for a few hours due to late arrival and early start but I was made to feel very welcome, with the owners happy to go the extra mile to ensure I had a pleasant stay. Thank you! |

I have stayed at the Old Deanery a number of times and have never been let down. Service is fantastic, the food and wine fabulous and the rooms and views beautiful. |

Situation, food, service, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere- I couldn't fault any of this, but sadly the cheap mattress and low quality bedding made the 4 poster irrelevant, had to go out and buy feather pillows and cotton pillowcases to make the second night bearable. 100% cotton sheets, a top quality mattress, and non synthetic pillows would have made this stay perfect. Shame as in every other aspect this hotel is truly a gem. |
