Osterley Park Hotel

The Restaurant was booked for a private function so we were disappointed not to be able to eat there.t

DON'T STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! Depressing room overlooking discarded rubbish and an old matress, noisy children from a wedding running around the corridor, bleak motel-style accomodation accessed by a damp concrete balcony. Wall lights and TV didn't work, cheap iron pulled the threads on my silk dress because the base was rough. Trim from round bath broken,grouting from floor tiles missing , no pelmets around the hard divan beds. When I went to get down the spare blanket a half full packet of cigarettes came down with it; the blanket had blood on it........etc etc Sleep in your car or on a station concourse instead!

The hotel was dirty (sign says it is undergoing refurbishment) although bedroom was OK; the radiator in the bedroom didn't work and the electric heaters left were too small; in the morning the room was very cold and the bedding inadequate (quality of bedding extremely poor); furniture average although bed was huge. Sign in ensuite said water was very hot - it wasn't and shower was ok without being hot; water from tap was luke warm. Breakfast was good and table well presented; staff (front desk/restaurant) were helpful and polite.

Great value for London, Central, large rooms, bathrooms need updating but adequate, friendly staff and no noisy air con. Food OK but great thai and Indian around in Osterley, Park a great place for a walk and fab cheap organic vege shop and cafe....free entry....bets value for money when working in London
