Park Inn York

North Street, York

The Park Inn York is centrally situated on the banks of the River Ouse. Only a 5 minute walk from all the main City centre attractions and shopping areas.
Cancellation policy 6pm on the day of arrival.
The Park Inn York is pleased to announce that they are embarking upon a refurbishment project for their guests' rooms. The entire refurbishment project will commence on the 2nd June 2008 and is expected to be completed by mid December 2008. Renovation works will take place between the hours of:
Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm and Saturday 8.00am - 1.00pm.
The management assures all our guests that there will be minimal disruption. All food and beverage outlets and the leisure club will be operating as usual during this program.

reading some previous reviews I wasn't expecting much from the Hotel but I was happily surprised. We were in the refurbished part. It was quiet and our room was a good size, pleasant and clean overlooking river (they are refurbing so had scaffold outside window) We even had a balcony!! Breakfast was as good and service was very quick. Very central and excellent position. One note new part is definately better so ask for a room in that part and remember at weekends it's hen/stag and race weekends and that is what this hotel is desinged to cater for. At night, it can be quite loud outside as well.
