Best WesternPark Hall Hotel

I stayed in the village part of this hotel and have to say it is very poor.The chalets are well overdue a refit the showers are a waste of time and the cleanliness is very poor.

Stayed for 3 nights. first night ate in restaurant and was not asked how the meal was. The steak was the toughest I had eaten in a good long while, had to leave 50% of it. Would have thought this would have provoked a question.
2nd Night had a Pizza and chips in the bar. No condiments, cutlery or serviette offered or brought to me.
3rd night had visitors with me from Germany. Had an average meal in the restaurant, had to wait for one meal as it was not ready at same time as the other 2. Went in to the bar and as there were only 5 guests it closed between 9:30 and 9:45. Within 15 minutes a group of residents, 10+, came into the bar and it stayed shut having to keep calling the night service. Not good enough and so no never again.

We were there for a wedding and the reception was in the hotel. Reception and the public areas look good and the staff were helpful. However our room was in the "village" behind the hotel. Parking is a distance away and there were no trolleys for luggage. The rooms were dated and noisy. A considerable improvement is needed. The wedding catering was satisfactory but breakfasts were disappointing with a limited choice and lots of tinned fruit. It makes sense to stay here for the likes of a wedding but I wouldn't use it otherwise.
