Newly refurbished bath..............very nice and works well, no probs with hot water etc.
Central Airconditioning system which seems new and works well.
Room microscopic size, barely enough space to turn around or set down bags. It was however quite clean and comfortable although decor seemed a bit dated.
Corridors outside rooms are so narrow that 2 people could not walk past each other without making contact.
Free wireless internet but everything on tele is pay on demand.
View was on to a construction site from where someone could easily climb into my window if it were left open.

Rooms are too small and the bar is not a friendly drinking hole.

The room was a dark shoe box, very small (double bed against the wall & only accessible from one side) and staff seemed distracted with minimal focus on customers. Very disappointed as stay was for a special occasion.

* Plus points: Superb location. Literally just off Oxford Street, just behind Marks and Spencer's on Baker Street and about a minute from Selfridges and Marble Arch, but still surprisingly quiet. Lovely sumptuous modern decor.
* Minus points: Absolutely tiny rooms dominated by the enormous Bank & Olufsen TVs. There is about a foot of space around the bed and that's it! But if you're just sleeping there, does it actually matter? If you like lying in bed watching TV, you'll be very much at home. There was no view of any kind. My room looked directly onto a dirty brick wall about 1 ft beyond the glass.
