Situated off J6 on the M56. Easily accessible via M6 from the South or North and M62/M60 from the East or West. From M60 follow Manchester Airport signs leading onto the M56 (west bound) and exit at J6 (Hale) keep in left hand lane and turn left towards Hale. Under the bridge, move into the right hand lane, and take the third exit at the roundabout. From M6 West -follow signs to M56 (east bound)and exit at J6. At roundabout take the second exit.

A nice clean hotel, easy to find. Staff were friendly and helpful. The diner was lovely too. Good value as I got the room at a special rate

After booking through Laterooms i wasn't really sure what to expect with the rescent publicity regarding booking through third parties, but believe me i will ,and advice others, to use the service , it was superb and thank you for your help, there was a problem with trying to arrange a bed for the youngster but your staff sorted everything out, absolutely first class.
I am in the Fire Service and will pass all my comments onto all colleagues and friends, again thank you for your efforts. Dave Brook.

The hotel is well appointed and comfortable. The meeting area is fine. Service was variable. Food in the meeting area was late and below average, even for a chain hotel. Food in the dining area was OK, but not exceptional. The broadband system didn't work. As this was a business trip, this was irritating and expensive (dial up used instead). Potentially a good hotel, but generally just a bit slack, and not worth the money. Would only receommend it to others with heavy reservations and caveats - it is very near the airport and easy to get to which is it's major benefit.

Food in the bar was excellent but a bit over priced. £20 for a steak, all be it an amazing steak, is over priced.
Staff excellent, very helpful and friendly. Room was excellent too.

We arrived at 6pm and our room was not ready. The reason - the hotel was full the previous night. We waited about thirty minutes whilst the room was cleaned. We booked this hotel as it had a swimming pool. However, due to the delay in getting our room, we could only swim for 25 minutes as children were not allowed in the pool after 7pm.
We also booked this hotel as it was advertised as having a free transfer to the airport. However, this is no longer the case, and there is now a £2.50 charge per person. We were told that the charge has been advertised in many places, but lastminute are not up-to-date with their information.
Our stay at the Marriott was supposed to be a relaxing start to our tripp to Italy, but due to all the problems, this was not the case.
