The Hotel Callas am Dom Cologne is a privately managed hotel in the center of Cologne, adjacent to the world's famous cathedral. It is only a few minutes walk to the arts center with museums, the Philharmonic, theaters and the opera. The hotel is situated in pedestrian mall near several kinds of shops and restaurants. Ideal position - right in the city centre; in the main shopping street & adjacent to the Catherdral!

In terms of location, this hotel is perfect - it is close to the Dom and the old town with lots of local restaurants to choose from just a few minutes walk away. The hotel is on a pedestrian precinct and this is very noisy during the night. The rooms were clean but the bathroom was a bit tired and could be cleaner. The buffet breakfast was quite good for such a budget hotel. There are several other hotels nearby that I would be tempted with in future and which are away from the main pedestrian routes and associated noise levels but for what we paid for this one, I have no complaints at all.
