The Hotel Charles Prague has 24 above-standard large rooms and other 6 romantic suites on 4 floors with a modern lift. All of them are furnished with Baroque style furniture and original wooden beamed ceilings. All rooms of the Charles Hotel Prague have a private bathroom, with shower or bathtub, hairdryer, telephone, SAT TV, minibar and a safe box.
This architecturally interesting medieval building of the romantic Hotel Charles Prague offers the highest international standards of comfort and convenience while maintaining the charm of the historical and romantic setting of the Lesser Town – Mala Strana. Rooms are above standard large.

Remains of previous rampart are still preserved in the basement. The house was burned down during Hussite wars and later renewed in 1503.
An expensive renovation of this building was made during the Renaissance in the second half of the 16th century. The third floor was built in Baroque style in 1686. The lion’s masks on the facade of third floor of the Charles Hotel Prague facing toward street Mostecka are patrons of the building. An early Baroque portal with transform light is visible from Josefska Street.
The Charles Hotel Prague was established in 1890. The staircase leading from the basement all the way to the attic was built in 1865.
The last renovation of the Charles Hotel Prague was made in 2008.
The romantic Hotel Charles Prague also offers a restaurant on the ground floor, where buffet breakfast is served.
Parking is available about 400m away in Rudolphinum’s public underground garages.
The romantic Hotel Charles in Prague is looking forward to your visit.

Very central location with excellent friendly staff. Beautifully appointed public spaces with great character and attention to detail, being styled to complement the hotel's age. Complimentary champagne was served for our anniversary. Dreadful breakfast, had to make own tea from a choice of Earl Gray, Green and fruit . The kettle was often empty and a waiter had to be found for a refill. Choice of chocolate spread or honey for bread. The shower in our room was not attached to the wall and there was no slip mat causing me to fall.

Great location.Opposite side of the river from old town square.Cross the Charles bridge and you are virtually at the hotel.
Room was clean with an ensuite bathroom.Fairly basic.Very old building with ancient wooden door at entrance - we walked past it 3 times before we realised it was the hotel!Very simple continental breakfast with fruit juices, ham ,cheese ,bread for toasting, rolls and lovely jams - self service in a small basement breakfast room. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Hotel offered a taxi from airport - for an extra charge - which was as described and on time - terrific
Lovely to be greeted as you arrive and set the tone for a great trip
Hotel rooms very interesting - though can be noisy - as so close to attractions that they attract some noisy tourists late at night -but hotel staff were very helpful
