The Lincoln Hotel

Eastgate, Lincoln

This privately owned hotel, set in the magnificent Cathedral quarter of the city, has 68 well appointed en-suite bedrooms all offering tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and LCD T.V's with direct internet access. Our Cathedral facing rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and air conditioning is available in these rooms, to upgrade to one of these rooms please contact the hotel direct. Our reception area allows guests the freedom of wireless internet access, as do our five small function rooms, which are available for hire. The restaurant with it's hues of 'rhubard and custard', boasts the best view in the city ,air conditioning and a fantastic eclectic menu, which uses locally produced ingredients. Our bar is proud to announce 'Friday night is Jazz Night' , every Friday night at the Lincoln Hotel, with live entertainment!
Car parking is free to all residents and disabled access can be found to the rear of the hotel, with a lift to the main reception floor.
As from the 1st October the Lincoln will be introducing a non-smoking policy in all public areas and guest rooms.
We would advise guests in advance that during the 'festive season' disco noise may be audible from your room, if in doubt please contact reservations.

The Restaurant was slightly disappointing, with very untraditional dishes that we wouldn't even dream of trying.. we went out to eat in the end. Breakfast was also very unorganised.

Clean, simple, tasteful modern decor. Nice views. Great location. Hearty buffet breakfast. Late bar. Really helpful friendly staff with recommendations o n local area. Very nice.

It had been a hot day, but the room was very stuffy & hot. Bathroom had a damp smell about it. Once the balcony doors where left open in the evening the smell went and the room cooled. Good hotel for location. But still needs work at least to room 326. Builders working on a new house out side room which meant could not leave curtains open in the morning
Internet is available but at £19.99 for 24 hours seemed a little steep. (stayed in an Ibis last week same tv same internet £9.99 for same service). Watch when you check out, had another persons bar bill added to my invoice (£16.50) after I had checked the bill and when my copy was printed......
