the first night was fine with no problems but the second night there was a disco that started at 11pm and went on until 12 30am. we were not told about this and as our room was in very close proximity to the function it was extremely noisy. We arrived back at our room after being out all day and the window had been left open by the cleaners and as we were on a ground floor room with a public footpath beside the window we were not very happy. The staff member i spoke to with my concerns regarding this matter was very apologetic and gave us a complimentary glass of wine as way of an apology. |

Portions for breakfast were meagre to say the least. For £11 I would have expected freah fruit, not tinned grapefruit. The quality of the cooked breakfast was good but the portion was meagre. 'Mushrooms' on the menu turned out to be 1 mushroom. |

It would help if we knew, when booking, the various grades of room available. We had an executive room, which was a bit costly, and had no option of alternative rooms. |
