Very central for the city centre. Clean, tidy, friendly, great value for money. Car parking across the road convenient

The hotel is in a relatively poor state of repair, in places. Such as the front door for instance. I've now stayed there for 3 weeks in a 4 week period and very little effort has been made to fix it. The same is true of one of the lifts. The restaurant food is good. Whatever you order off the bar snacks menu or the room service menu will feature neither the exact ingredients not preparation as mentioned on the menu. The club sandwich, for instance, is just roast chicken and melted cheese between 3 slices of bread. The same goes for the steak sandwich. Regardless of what bread you ask for, you will be served white sandwich slice. All said, the food is good and fresh. The breakfast is basic.

Although very central, it's not a great location. The room - good point = comfortable & clean, bad points = small, the curtain didn't fit the whole window, the window (if double glazed) offered no protection to outside noise (so much so that I was woken at 5am). Bar was nice, staff were friendly & helpful, cost of food & drink was reasonable.

Aside from the hair in the bath, on the bathroom floor and even the odd strand in the bed the room was clean and tidy. Only other gripe was that the T.V didn't work
