the best hotel we have stayed in yet in edinburgh. We booked an executive room but were upgraded to a suite with a balcony overlooking the front - thought that this would be noisy and i am not a very good sleeper - but couldn't hear a thing. Best part was the amazing rooftop garden which was a haven of peace in a busy part of the city. we sat in the sun, drank champagne and congratulated ourselves on choosing such a fab hotel!

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, seriously stylish and comfortable room, very convenient location and excellent value for money all made for a highly recommendable hotel which I am sure that you would be hard-pressed to better in Central Edinburgh.

Yes it is a bit on the pricey side but we thought it was lovely and wished we could stay MUCH longer.!!
Didnt eat in the hotel so dont know about the food. Not a place to bring the kids......leave them behind!
