Really convenient hotel for walking Snowdon. The railway is nearby and Llanberis path finishes just opposite hotel which is good for tired legs after walking so far! 5 minute walk to centre of village. Hotel room - exec double was lovely. Quite small but the bed does take most of the space - massive!!! Really good night's slepp!!! Bathroom was clean and hot water very warm. Again ideal for soaking in the bath after walking Snowdon! Unfortunately, there were no baked beans at breakfast on first day which disappointed my boyfriend, but only a minor thing! Otherwise, breakfast was good. As Welsh speakers it was lovely to hear staff conversing through the medium of Welsh. |

Staff at breakfast were very inefficient. People would arrive for breakfast and they were just left standing there until the staff could be bothered to acknowledge them. They left tables uncleared and just carried on serving the people who were already there. The hotel needs to look at the efficiency of their staff, surely it's common sense to clear a table after it's vacated to make room for the next guests. |
