If you want a value hotel this will do the job, I got a room for £50 which is a good price for being commutable. Room however slightly smelt of smoke and was similar to the standard of Kings Cross type of decor. This said I found lady on reception friendly but gentleman checking me in a bit indifferent. In summary it did the job with good value but not ideal as a trip with your lady.

Stayed 5th November. I stayed on the 3rd floor and walked into a cold room which remained cold all night. The main ceiling light did not work. The bathroom was a disaster broken mirror, broken fascia panels, shower door handle falling off and I had to do a quick fix on the shower head to keep it in place. Watch out the WiFi is not free £5/hour & £10/day. The restaurant looked nice and the menu reasonably priced although went out to eat. The buffet breakfast is £8.95 which I thought was a bit steep.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
Why didn't I complain? If I was staying for more than 1 night I would of and I was just too tired after a long day.
I would never stay there again and certainly would not recommend to a friend.

The hotel was fine for what I needed (a place to stay the night whilst working). The room was a bit shoddy in places, but clean. I didn't have a menu in my room, but when I phoned up reception they brought one and were very helpful. I didn't think much of the food, it was very dried up and not very appetising, although could have just been what I ordered. This wouldn't be my first choice if I was looking to stay in this area again, but I wouldn't be against staying there again.
