Shower temperature control was not working leaving the only option scalding hot, apart from that first class hotel in central location.

Breakfast was dissapointing. Staff cannot cope with large influx for breakfast and food quality was poor.

Hotel rooms are not double glazed and there is a new nightclub opposite the hotel which has a student night on a Monday so expect alot of noise until 4:00am plus on a Monday night and at weekends.

The hotel is in an excellent location for discovering Chester city centre. Be aware that parking is in the NCP about 5 min walk, take a bag with wheels!!!
Our room (a standard double) was at the back of the hotel and was consequently very quiet however it was very compact especially the bathroom, not for the large person. All that said the hotel served its purpose welland staff were friendly and helpful and we would use the hotel again.
