Directions to Macdonald New Blossoms Hotel
From J12 of the M53 take A56 for Chester City centre.Stay on A56 for 2 miles, until you come to a roundabout. At roundabout go right following signs for Wrexham and North Wales.At nest roundabout go left into city centre following signs for Centre Hotels and Eastgate. Follow the one way system around (in a u shape) staying in the right hand lane.Where the road divides bear right, this will take you to a set of traffic lights - turn left at lights.Go straight ahead into the pedetrianised zone (paved road surface) with the Town Hall on the right.If you arrive between 8.30am and 4.30pm you will need to give your name to the attendant at the barrier who will allow you through.Follow the oneway system turning left St Werburgh Street (Cathederal on your left) and left into to Eastgate Street. Please remember this is a pedestrianised zone and you will find people walking everywhere!! Following Eastgate Street, go under the stone archway then turn right into St John St where the Blossoms is situated on the left hand side.You can unload at the front of the hotel whilst leaving your hazard lights on. After you have checked into your room, we can then direct you to one of the Car Parks in the City.If you get lost or have trouble finding us please give us a call on 01244-323186 and we will assist you as much as we can.Rail: Chester Station 1 mileAir: Liverpool Airport 35 Miles Manchester Airport 35 Miles

Shower temperature control was not working leaving the only option scalding hot, apart from that first class hotel in central location. |

Breakfast was dissapointing. Staff cannot cope with large influx for breakfast and food quality was poor. |

Hotel rooms are not double glazed and there is a new nightclub opposite the hotel which has a student night on a Monday so expect alot of noise until 4:00am plus on a Monday night and at weekends. |

The hotel is in an excellent location for discovering Chester city centre. Be aware that parking is in the NCP about 5 min walk, take a bag with wheels!!! |
