Not the easiest place to find on a rainy evening. Parking is about 50metres away. I got a twin room but they happily changed it to a double. Not the biggest double in the world, but more than adequate. The location would be perfect for a night out in Newcastle centre. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. The bar under the hotel was closed when I went, so cannot comment if it would be a bit loud, but all seemed ok. Breakfast included was ok and friendly service, but quality of food (ie the quality they buy, not the cooking) could be a bit higher. |

This hotel was excellent. We had just stayed in a Jury's hotel and this smaller, non-chain hotel was MUCH better. |

This hotel is very deceptive - it looks very old and run down from the outside and even the reception area and hallways don't portray that of a luxury hotel but the rooms are absolutely gorgeous - I am talking Mal Maison style. |
