The room allocated to us was not ready, we had been given the key at reception and on opening the room we then discovered that room had not been cleaned or bed changed from previous occupants, we had to wait in the bar for an hour whilst room was being cleaned, we got an apology, but a complimentary drink would have been appreciated during our wait, i understand that delays can happen, but the fact is that we were given the room key while room was still dirty, i would use hotel again as it was very comfortable and leisure facilites good, reason i did not go to reception the day we checked in was because a wedding function was in the main reception area, but i did phone reception when we eventually got in the room

staff not very helpful on arrival and then we couldn't enter our room as there was a problem with the key. got a different room but had no shower screen in the bathroom. the hotel has lovely views on a clear day. would probably go back there as we know what to expect this time.

We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival as the hotel was above our expectations with regards to the price we have paid. We were working in nearby Paisley so this was a great base with amazing views. The room was fantastic and big and the breakfast was excellant with views over the golf course. After checkout the hotel had no problem allowing me to use the summer room to work on my laptop whilst waiting for my colleague. Fantastic!
