We Booked two non smoking rooms and called in on our way down to cardif to let the reception know we would not be ariving till after midnight and could we book in , as it was before 2pm we could not check in, so we asked that our rooms would not be given away. when we arrived after midnight we were told they only had smoking rooms left .we were not happy but had to accept ,we were given our key cards and went to our rooms only for my son to find his room already ocupied and had to go back to reception and was told sorry i give you the wrong key.We were then kept awake due to teanagers running up and down the passage banging on doors. At brakfast there were not enough cups and cutlery. But after all the disopintment i would give the hotel another chance as it is located near the M5 and handy when traveling south.and would like to think it.was a one off and would not be repeted.

arrived to be told no reservation had been made, however was told that a room was available at the quoted rate.required extra pillows, these were immediately given, no quibble. also told on arrival there was a £2.50 per day parking charge, not a lot of money, but i feel this should be made clearer at an earlier stage, what if it had been £20?breakfast was help yourself cereal, toast croissant and muffins, 3 types of juice,tea and coffee. basically what you would expect from a holiday inn.
