Set in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with uninterrupted views across the valley. The ancient ruins of Castell Dinas Bran are high up on the hillside opposite Ty'n y Wern. The traveller, en-route to destinations further into North Wales, or touring this beautiful area may experience the restful charm of the old farm house combined with the highest standards of modern comfort. Wireless broadband access is available from some of the rooms including the lounge.
Ty'n-y-Wern Hotel is just outside the picturesque market town of Llangollen, including the Borderlands, with many attractions within easy travelling distance. Leisure centres and golf clubs at Llangollen, Chirk, Wrexham and Oswestry (We are 1/2 a mile from the Vale of Llangollen golf course); Watersports at the renowned Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake); Chirk Marina on the Llangollen Canal; Superb shopping at Chester, including Cheshire Oaks; Cadfaels' Shrewsbury; Breathtaking scenery in the Snowdonia National Park; or spoilt for choice at the Abakhan Craft and Fabric Centre.
Breakfast is served daily from 8.00am to 9.30am (9.00am to 10.00am Sunday). Please note that we no longer offer bar or restaurant facilities.

The nearest train station is at Chirk, and the nearest coach stop is at Llangollen with a local bus service from Llangollen to Chirk.

If this was a hotel I would grade it 5 Star could not have been made more welcome room excellent and you must have the breakfast looking forward to my next trip to Wrexham to give me a reason to book in. 5 Star recomendation.
