The hotel was oppressively hot. The room overall small. The bathroom was tiny, no bath, just a shower with controls that were terrible, either far too hot or too cold, no happy medium. Restaurant nice, but again pretty expensive. The receptionist said I had made a mistake, and told me that because of my mistake I should be paying £110 for the room, when in fact I had made no such mistake and the rate was per room as on Late rooms £90!! All in all not particularly impressed for the price but for Blackpool it's probably quite good - I imagine the standard of accommodation here in general is pretty low. Not what I think Best Western standards should be. Breakfast - if you don't want bacon and eggs there is very little other choice, just cereal and a bit of fruit, no breads, pastries, cakes, ham, cheese, croissants etc, even no yoghurt which you'd expect as a continental option. |

The hotel was quite empty but although we requested a sea view we were given a very small room at the back of the hotel. This did not matter so much because we were only staying one night. |
