Directions to Egerton House Hotel
By Road: FROM THE NORTH: Exit at Junction 29 of the M6 onto the M65, exit Junction 4 onto the A666 through Darwen to Egerton the hotel is situated on the left hand side (look out for the Georgian Gatehouse). FROM THE SOUTH: Exit Junction 3 of the M61 onto the A666. Stay on the A666 and Egerton House is approximately three miles north of the town centre on the right hand side (look out for the Georgian Gatehouse). FROM THE EAST: Leave the M62 at J18 straight ahead into M60 anticlockwise. Leave M60 at Swinton interchange straight ahead into M61 towards Bolton. Leave the M61 straight ahead into A666, signed Bolton, then A666 signed Blackburn. By Rail: Bromley Cross is 1 mile away and Bolton Town centre is approximately three miles.Preston Station is approximately 15 miles.By AirManchester Airport is approximately 35 minutes drive.

I stay in this hotel often and would recommend it to anyone.The rooms are of a good standard ,the stall are always helpful and polite, and the standard of food is awlways vey good. |

This hotel is in a very nice location and the staff are very freindly. However, the first and second floor rooms stunk of cat litter and breakfast was refried residue. The scrambled eggs were out of a packet. Very dissapointing for the price we paid. |

I had not stayed at this hotel since the mid eighties and wondered if it would still be the same.I was not disappointed,finding the same friendly service in a lovely house which has been modernised so tastefully.Really is an excellent,peaceful and comfortable hotel. |
