Novotel London St Pancras

I booked this hotel as a suprise for my partner belated birthday treat! When i arrived i was greeted by the front desk with a warm smile and was also informed that my room had been upgraded.
this was excellent, myself and my partner had a great time and would be recommeding this hotel to others. The only downfall that we should of stayed longer.

A Superior-Quality Room.
Bed: 3-pillow-lengths wide and a supportive mattress. Bedding had the feel of a high thread-count.
Soundproofing: Even on the 10th (of 16) floor, there is still the noise of traffic from Euston Road (front of Hotel), especially emergency vehicles, late at night – NEEDS IMPROVING!
Elevators: Of the 3 available, the central one tells you it has a panoramic view – get in and turn around to see Euston Road disappear below you.
TV: Phillips flat-screen HD-ready has SCART, Component and Composite inputs (ideal if you have a personal media player). Apart from the 5 main UK channels, CBeebies, SkyOne, BBC News, The Hits, French, ARD, TVE, BBC Radio 1, 2, 5. There are more free-to-air channels available in the UK so why not on the Hotel’s TV? A Keyboard allows for Internet TV surfing. There is also a 3.5mm jack to connect an audio device, such as an MP3 player, to the TV. Bathroom has an overhead speaker so, by turning TV volume to max and muting TV sound, listen to some music whilst soaking in the very long bath tub. TV-system used by Hotel to send you messages, including notice of fire-alarm tests.
Telephones: External and room-to-room calls are possible.
Laptop: There is an Ethernet cable on the work desk and UK 3-pin and European 2-pin power sockets provided.
Climate control: An easy-to-operate wall thermostat controls overhead fan heaters (10oC to 30oC).
Furniture: Bed; 2 chairs; TV on top of the cabinet that also holds the mini-bar (MB) and other refreshments; bedside tables; wardrobes. WARDROBE DOOR DID NOT SHUT PROPERLY.
Refreshments: Kettle, tea/coffee (stored on the tiny shelf over the MB). The MB contains non-alcoholic drinks, such as Colas (Sodas).
Other Room Amenities: In-room electronic safe; iron and board; hairdryer; spare bedding; heated trouser-press; laundry-service.
Bathroom: toilet (WC); electric-razor points; adjustable shaving/make-up mirror alongside sink; shower over bath and a hand-held shower head. A 3-position-dial to select from the 2 shower options or the bath, and another dial that controlled both pressure and temperature (in one movement). Bath had one of those small, fold-back glass panels, supposed to stop shower water from reaching the floor! Towels provided, bathrobe; slippers; toiletries. Bath had several safety rails. Only one small peg and that holds the bathrobe – a few more would be nice!
The Restaurant: ‘Mirrors’, it has 2 entrances (one external to the Hotel) which suggests open to non-residents? Plenty of cafes and restaurants on Euston Road, if one wants a change. A
Room Service menu was available.
Breakfast: 0630 – 1030. Other food available during the day.

I have booked the Hotel for my next visit to London!

Staff were very friendly and professional, excellent location, a little noisy at night (sirens etc), clean and modern room with average facilities, felt it was overpriced since breakfast was not included, limited TV services inc radio channel availability.
Would recommend the hotel if you can bite the bullet on the price!

Bathroom whilst clean looked a bit tired.
