The Aerodrome Hotel is a premier 3 star hotel near Croydon city centre, located on the A23, with quick and easy access to central London by road or rail and close to the M25 and M23 motorways. The Aerodrome was originally built to serve the elite passengers of Croydon Airport and a huge refurbishment programme, including an additional floor and Executive Wing, has transformed it into Croydon's premier hotel. All 110 bedrooms have the latest interactive LCD TV system with digital blockbuster movies (in several languages), a choice of 150 albums, high speed broadband internet access with laptop connection and internet on the TV. Guests also benefit from complimentary car parking as well as complimentary passes to nearby health and leisure clubs with state-of-the-art facilities, including swimming pools. Guests have a choice of two fine restaurants - Amy Johnson or Rayon d'Or each with their own bar area. Central London is just 12 minutes by train with courtesy transfers mid-week available to and from Croydon station. Considering the price we paid we think the Aerodrome Hotel is excellent value. We particularly liked the aviation connection being used as the decor theme and the photographs were very interesting. We hope when the refurbishment project is completed there will be a little more furniture in the public rooms lift areas etc as it did seem a little bare. It was considerate to put us on the 5th floor as the noise from the wedding reception being held there could have been disturbing. As it was we heard nothing of it.
We will certainly stay there again.

Very nice, quite plush and comfortable. Much better than I was expecting for the price we paid. Nice en suite. Were supposed to be out of room by 12 but as we were running late they let us stay for an extra hour free of charge. Would definitely stay again.

Only complaint was there was a wedding party and kids were running wild all overthe large reception area, my room was quite near to this and I could not sleep because of the sound of screaming kids
