The food at the hotel was excellent. The location was opposite the railway station which was noisy. The cleanliness of the room was not quite as good as I would have liked. Generally the staff were friendly but the reception staff could have been a lot more pro active in their customer service skills. |

very shabby outdated rooms, no ceiling in shower, very small dressing table mirror and 70's TV. noisy workmen. poor parking facilities for £8 per overnight stay. not worth £90 a night. BUT restraunt food great, be sure to take advantage of the free bottle of wine! |

Room was okay but old-fashioned and some mould on the bathroom ceiling. Staff were friendly and helpful; the hotel is very conveniently located near the train station (across the street) and the town centre (5 min's walk). Breakfast was absolutely delicious and copious, with both a continental buffet and cooked breakfast a la carte included in the room rate. |

The room was shabby and unclean. Each day we left damp towels folded on the end of the bed and they were not replaced . This was reported to reception on Tuesday evening before we went out and were still there when we returned later that evening. The same thing happened on Wednesday. Requests for a bath mat were not answered. |

The hotel was very easy to find and they have their own parking spaces at a reasonable cost. The hotel was centrally located. All staff were very polite and helpful. |
