Although we got a good deal, I would have been really disappointed if I had paid any more as the room was pretty grotty. Old fashioned decor and unclean. Supposedly ensuite but the sink was in the bedroom and the bathroom was not nice at all (musty smell and could have done with a re-fit). It was suppos ed to be a superior room but I would not have called it that. The location was pretty awful as well with no nice cafes or pubs around. The only nice thing was that the breakfast wasn't too bad!! I would not stay there again. |

The hotel seemed to be a bit shabby, dirty and dated. It was hard to get served at the bar sometimes as there was not always someone behind it to serve you. On the first night we sat down with a drink and the fire alarm went off so were outside for a good 40 mins in the rain with no explanation. |

Food and customer service was great, Really recommend paying extra for the breakfast. Room wasn't the best room that I have stayed in, bed was very squeaky and shower would not stop dripping which didn't help when you were sleeping. But overall would definately stay here again, as really easy access to Alton Towers. |

The Restaurant service was just alright, there was a minimum of staff available. everything was clean and tidy but very little atmosphere. |
