This elegant four star Hotel is situated next to the 2,800 acre Royal Richmond Park in Richmond. The Hotel offers 68 beautifully appointed en suite bedrooms all with television, hair dryer, trouser press, BT openzone wireless connectivity, duvets and mini bar. The majority of our bedrooms have recently been refurbished and include air conditioning.
Newly refurbished "Gates on the Park" Restaurant is one of the highest rated Hotel restaurants in Surrey with its 2 AA rosettes and an outstanding reputation for English fine dining with a modern twist. The Restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere for guests to relax and unwind in whilst enjoying their meal.

We have used The Richmond Gate several times but were given a room in the annex on this occasion. These rooms are tiny although perfectly functional. The rooms in the original part of the hotel are vastly superior. The breakfast buffet was fine but not special. Dinner at the hotel is expensive but the quality is good.

Hotel was in a great location, and was quite nice inside. However our room was on the lower ground floor and did not have air conditioning which wasnt great on a hot day. But room decor and facilities were all good.

I have written a letter of complaint to the hotel outlining various problems such as cleanliness, staff competence and customer service.Very poor value for money all round.Very disappointing.
