We were very pleased when we found a good deal for staying at this hotel. It would normally be out of our league. While the room was well laid out; and the bed very comfortable, I have to say we were appalled at the bathroom floor. There were hairs on it - presumably from a previous occupant (or a cleaner who was moulting) - long and dark, so not easily missed. I really felt we couldn't pad around in the bathroom bare-foot. Loo-paper too was very basic - given that the hotel uses the White Company for their toiletries (soap, shower gel etc) I think they could use better quality paper. So - a little disappointing. |

Nice clean, comfortablemodern hotel. A bit further out from Cambridge than we had thought. Good public transport during the week, but not on Sunday. Very good breakfast. Only criticism was our room was a bit stuffy. |

Convenient (just a minute or two from the A14) with good parking. Good quality rooms, nice staff and a reasonable restaurant. Breakfast is good. No lift to the first floor, so beware if you have heavy luggage (although there is a porter). |
