Excellent value for money. Rooms very modern and clean. Food was excellent although disappointed that there was only one vegetarian option for dinner. Overall extremely good value for money.

It was a nice stay - VERY close to shops etc. The breakfast was nice in the morning. Room very clean - just been refurbished. Nice staff at reception and at breakfast (did not stay for evening meals)

Bathroom was ridiculously small. Bedroom was very hot, even with window wide open. Charged £2.75 for paying by credit card which I didn't notice was anywhere on the booking form.

The first room we were given - 303 - was in the old section of the hotel with beams and low ceilings. It would have been pleasant enough if not for the constant noise and vibration from some kind of air duct from the kitchens under the room, which meant we got no sleep on the first night. Thankfully a quick conversation with reception in the morning resulted in a move for the second night to a room in the Garden House which was very nice, with a lovely big bathroom and a view to the front of Nash's House and New Place. So, a shame that the original room was allocated in the first place, as they must have known about the noise problem (although the person I spoke to denied all knowledge), but the issue was rectified to our satisfaction. Breakfast very nice. Location in the middle of town very convenient.
