The hotel was good value for a short break in the countryside. Reception staff were very couteous and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The dinner menu (Sunday evening) was uninspiring - reminiscent of pub grub - nothing special but "ok". The dining room was magnificent but decoration looking a bit tired. A pity that people don't dress up a little for dinner these days. Oh well! Plenty of choice for breakfast but huge queues waiting to be seated on Monday morning and tables uncleared. Why do some staff refer to guests as "guys"?? Didn't have time to try the leisure facilities. Overall, good value if you can get a special offer. The cabaret weekends look good! |
