We booked this hotel as a pit-stop for the family and as such it was absolutely fine and very good value at £40.00/night for a room with 2 doubles. I knew no breakfast was provided so took croissants and made coffee using the facilities in-room. I had hoped to buy other food items at the nearby shop but the refridgeration wasn't working so there was very little (healthy food) available. I would say use this if like us you need a bed for the night en route for somewhere but think ahead and take food and drink in case you don't want/like what's on offer nearby or unless you're prepared to pay for breakfast @ £7.99/person - even for children (though there is a starbucks and the usual motorway service cafe next door). The staff were friendly and the facilities quite pleasant, and as others have said, it wasn't at all noisy. I wonder whether those who were disappointed had rather too high expectations of what is essentially a motel at a motorway service station. |

Having got to the hotel late I could not find a parking space and had to wait for someone to leave, so parking is an issue! |

New untrained night receptionist, who rings round the rooms at midnight to find out what rooms are vacant, as she doesn't understand the system. Complaining to the person in charge the next morning got me no where. Very good if you like a disturbed night. |
