Hotel Teco

A bit dingy and frayed around the edges. In need of renovation. I found a pen top and a used toothpick on my bed when I arrived. However the bathroom was spotless and the staff were pleasant. The location is absolutely excellent.

This hotel is probably in need of a refurb as our room was fairly old and dated however given the location and price you can't really complain. We also had a fairly large balcony which helped to brighten up the room. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English (and weren't pained to do so) and the continental breakfast was great.

Seemed like the current owners/management were good: bed sheets and linens were new and clean, morning breakfast very good. However, the condition of the building was less than desirable. Moldy spots under certain areas of the wallpaper, cracked bath tub, hallway dark and definately worn. Good location though and very reasonable priced for Milan.

My room backed onto the main shopping street, which was a bit noisy but very handy for shopping. Room is clean, but a bit basic for the price you pay.

Foyer looks ok but overall very basic. Room clean but decor 30 yrs old. Walls looked dirty through age. Bathroom fittings rusty, didn't use bath/shower. Breakfast ok- boiled eggs, croissants, 3 choices of cereals, youghurts, cheese , hams, cake, choice of teas, coffee, jiuces. Made up a little for the dingy room. Location good, just off corso buenos aires, short wall to metro Venezia.
