Considering I was informed that this was one of the best hotels in Nottingham I thought it was quite run down and once you get beyond reception the hotel looked quite shabby in parts. Our room was fine but it wasn't any nicer than a standard 3* room. If I had paid fuil price for the room I would have been very disappointed. |

Positives are the position of the hotel, the breakfast was excellent. Negatives are that I had to contact the reception 3 times to get extra pillows in a twin room, and then had to wait for several hours! Decor of the room was slightly dated, though the bathroom was fantastic. The receptionist on duty during the afternoon didn't seem to want to give any customer service, though another receptionist in the morning was really helpful when I asked for directions and for other information. I would stay again again at the hotel, though a swimning pool would be nice. |

The first thing to say is that the hotel's restaurant (Chino Latino) is just stunning. If you have the chance to try it out please do. We had a 3-course meal which ended up around the £90 mark but was worth every penny. Fantastic sashimi, great fish main courses, and to-die-for desserts (creme brulee and chocolate souffle). Fresh food, beautifully prepared, as good as anything I can recall. |

Great bar and room, but on the negative side - valet parking closed at 10pm so you need to let them know in advance |
