This was an appalling hotel. The room was hot and cramped, the carpet in the room was stained and torn. Despite complaints to the management, no action was taken to rectify the situation. The attituda was "take it or leave it". Very disappointing |

Excellent concierge staff although the reception were a little unfriendly and we were almost "told off" for checking out late despite the fact that this because we had been using the Spa (where we had been spending £100 on a single treatment!).; What's more 11am check out on a Sunday is just unreasonable especially when you can't check into your room on arrival until 3pm. The room was not good value at nearly £200 with a bathroom (especially shower) in need of some updating. Newpapers were requested but didn't arrive and there were no slippers in the room. The food prices are worth noting with breakfast - nothing more than bacon and eggs - clocking in at a whopping £21.50 a head! Not that we mind paying over the odds for great surroundings, great service and great food but none of these were present. Notwithstanding this, the main areas of the hotel are lovely as is the Spa and there are some very pleasant, friendly members of staff. |

Hotel was really amazing - so beautiful, we had a private garden too. The room was really clean, jacuzzi in the bathroom, really good shower, double sinks, etc. Just lovely! The bed was so comfy and the spa is just fantastic. I can't wait to go back to this hotel and next time will stay for 2 nights. My only gripe would be that there is no mini-bar in the room - other than than, perfect. |
