It was certainly not good value for money (compared to other hotels and B & Bs we stayed at on same visit to Scotland). Very clever photography as the reality was a huge disappointment. Very neglected and in need of a good clean - both inside and out. We could go on but bottom line is we would not recommend it and are very interested in how the hotel attained its 4* rating. |

We felt that for the price paid, the quality & value was below par.The handle on the room to our room to our door was shaky(lack of maintenance), we had a small hairdryer that was cheap and not powerful enough. The continental buffet meats looked dried out. They have clearly invested a lot of capital and are making an effort to upgrade, but the tariff paid was a little high we felt |
