Great location and a hotel I have wanted to stay at for some time. Did not have any note at check in of the free drink and strawberries and had to prove this was included. Room nice but very small with no view at all. Valet parking only option but 25 pounds!! |

Excellent location but room average - would be fine for 3* but for 5* didn't really have the 'wow' factor. |

The hotel building was impressive and the room was a decent size (I had chosen a double having read other reviews). However the positioning of the armcharis meant only one of the wardrobe doors could be opened. Service was a disappointment for a hotel of this rating, though staff were friendly. The concierge desk was unmanned on a number of occasions, the room service number was engaged and then off the hook and when reception said they would get someone to call there was no call after 20 minutes. Once room service was ordered it arrived on time, but was tepid. As the restaurant has 2AA Rosettes the food was disappointing. |
