This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Burlington. On both occasions I asked for a New Street facing room as a previous reviewer had advised not to have an inward facing room or we would be treated to a view of an extractor fan! Both times the fairly pleasant staff assured me the room was street facing only to discover it was not. The staff need to know which direction their rooms are facing. Having said that the price is a steal if you need something central and convenient for the station. |

This was a great hotel, althogh soem of it could do with a little TLC. Great location, right in the center of birmingham. The staff were on the whole fantastic, with the exception of the 2 bar staff taking 20 mins to serve 4 glasses of wine!! |

This hotel was not worth £95 a night! I was expecting a grand place to stay, I was presented with a tired and shabby hotel. The bathrooms were dated, the shower took 10 mins to attempt to moderate the temperature. The carpets in the bedroom were marked and pictures on the wall sited next to each other were placed at slightly different heights. The TV reception was poor and slapdash maintenance was very prevalent. Hotel not recommended, the price does not match the quality that is reasonably expected in this price range. I wasn't asked how my stay was on check out so I didn't provide feedback at that time. |
