Superb, interesting country house with lots of interesting memorabilia relating to the Armstrong-Jones family. Andy and Julian made excellent hosts and the sensation was that of staying with friends for the weekend. We did not have an evening meal but the breakfasts were really good. |

A super hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and were able to explain some of the family history behind the original ownership of the house. The food was excellent. Pity the weather wasn't better because the hotel is surrounded by lovely looking gardens/park land which would have been nice to wander. My wife and I will definitely be staying there again in the future. |

The hotel is beautiful, part of the Armstrong-Jones family. Lots of lovely furniture, pictures and photographs all very interesting. The room was nice, again nice pieces of furniture which could perhaps do with restoration. The televison reception was very poor which I think could be addressed. The bathroom has saniflow loos which are not nice and very noisy, and a notice saying that if you flush something down the loo which blocks it, you may be held responsible for the engineers charge - is this legal? The evening meal was lovely - home cooked although feel a little expensive for what it was. Overall a nice atmosphere with lovely surroundings. |
