beautiful grounds, which is one of the main reasons I chose it. Unfortunately view from room was of walls and roof. bathroom was fantastic.Bagged the Molton Brown toiletries! afternoon tea in the warm afternoon sun on the terrace with a beautiful view was exquisite.

The location, rooms and ambience of this hotel are superb. My double room was what most other hotels would call a suite, and they would charge a lot more. The service and breakfast were appalling. The management have no idea about customer service and the value of this hotel must be in steep decline. Somebody else should buy it, charge the right price for the rooms to fund the service levels appropriate to the marque!
