This is a true little gem. The staff are most helpful and friendly, the bar is cosy, and I love their commitment to traditional British food. They also keep their cask ales very well. The location is excellent for sightseeing, and it is very easy to get to by public transport from wherever you arrive. |

Just dont fall for the "free breakfast" that only applies on the weekend (as it says in the small print). |

All London hotels seem extremely expensive. I can't say this was good value for money, but compared to other London hotels it wasn't bad. It was an excellent location, beautifully presented, and definitely a place we would go back to. The shower was nice, but did make a bit of a pool on the bathroom floor which we mopped up. However, unlike 99% of hotels, the plug in the sink actually stopped water seeping away. Comfy bed. Result! |

We hit a bad night for food. Two attempts go get my husband a well heated pie failed and by the time the third meal came I had long sincce finished mine. It was a Sunday night and there was only one person in the kitchen. The bar man handled it well and with good humour. Otherwise a very good place to stay |
