I paid £60 for 1 night. According to their tariff - It should have been £140!! This hotel cannot justify this price for the room I was in. I feel the hotel decor needs a major overhaul. It is old and tired. The TV was at least 20 yrs old, Shower/bathroom old and it shows.
Not all negative. Lovely views across the bay. Great breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff. Would stay again but only at Late Rooms Prices.

Take a step back to the seventies! Although they have all the usual internet connections to connect to the outside world it doesn't extend beyond the front desk! Once you leave there you're on a magical journey back in time! However, this is not on purpose! The room and decor were straight from the 70's. The room was small (the Travelodge we stayed in the previous night was a lot larger!) Even the toilet had a 'chain pull' cistern - I haven't seen one of them for years. Decor dated, room small overlooking the back end of the town. They did have a jacuzzi but in order to dissuade you they say you have to give them 3 hours notice to heat. The swimming pool was covered and effectively off limits.
The meals were excellent but very limited in variety - anything you liked so long as it was in the list of around 5 choices!
For £100 a night we expected a much better standard from a 3 star hotel.

The hotel staff were polite and helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. The food was varied and of high standard. I partically enjoyed walking down to the sea through the excellently maintained hotel garden.

The room we were allocated was very small, overlooked the back yard. The room was full of boxes of tiles etc and was being used for storage, so we obviously asked for another, and also for a seaview (front) room. I tried to book the best rooms but this obviously did not get through to the hotel. We were then shown two much better rooms. Since the hotel was virtually empty (we only saw one other couple) it was irritating to be offered such a sub standard room initially. If we were offered the final room first we might consider going back to the hotel. This final room was only OK but may be the best room as it is the one they feature photographs of on the internet. Great views (apart from the skip). The chairs let the rooms and other furniture down, a bit like chairs you might expect in some form of state institution.

Great views over the north beach and two minutes walk from lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants (the Blue Ball is fantastic). Also a garden overlooking the sea. A little cold in February to try the outdoor pool but looked like it would be great in summer. There was an adjoining door to the next room so we could clearly hear their television but over night the sound of the waves crashing made sure we slept soundly so it wasn't a problem. A little overpriced for a fairly basic room and bathroom but lively compared to the others we saw and Tenby is a gem and well worth a visit and a walk along the beach at low-tide.
