A perfect location, in the heart of the city yet quiet and with a distinguished air! You look out on to the rear of Fortnums and Mason, with Green Park Tube literally a 5-miniute walk (perfect when you don't have the ability to ever pack light!)The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. The room (superior double) was spacious clean and VERY well appointed. I have stayed in lots of hotels, and many times in London- this was the best so far. Would I go back there- YES, in fact I could LIVE there. 10 out of 10 and with the Late Rooms deal- brill value for money! Lovely in every way! |

Disappointing that reception staff disputed the agreed cost upon arrival to point where they needed external sanction - as ever you need to take printed proof of booking reservation and cost. Once sanction received they still tried to put VAT on the actual 'full cost'. Complimentary papers werent delivered on either day of our stay. Room was quite small but new and functional, very clean as was bathroom and had aircon which was needed. Excellent location though and handy for an excellent breakfast at Fortnum & Mason, which was cheaper than hotel breakfast. |
