The hotel has amazing views and wonderful grounds to stroll around in. The resturant is very good if a little expensive. our room was ok but i feel it would benifit from some re- decaration and some loving care, although the view over the bay sort of made up for this. overall the stay was very pleasnt. |

No real ale (off) limited availability of food and wine although offered choice. Standard of room poor needed updating, shower poor. Offers golf course but carry only, not suitable if you are expecting to play proper golf. Beautiful views. In my view trying to be something it cannot live up to. |

We stayed in the newly opened Finnish lodge which was lovely - decor and furnishings of a high standard with wonderful veiws over Robin Hoods Bay. Spacious bathroom with power shower over the bath. Would have liked a dishwasher, but not enough space in kitchen - otherwise very well designed and more spacious than it looks from outside. Patio area outside french windows - unfortunately the hotel had been let down by delivery of patio furniture (not their fault)!, but would have made a difference. Staff very friendly. Have stayed in the hotel before and felt the bathrooms, especially were in need of updating. Will definitely visit the hotel again and stay in the lodges. Wonderful atmosphere. Great walks - didn't want to leave. |
