Fab Room, little bit small but so clean and spotless. No bath but the shower and toilet area were very funky. Long bar is very expensive £10-£12 for Vodka and Coke but what do you expect in London. Nice as a pamper treat. room is very different very minimalist and trendy.....

It took us a few hours to 'get' the hotel. Once we 'got' it, it was a very relaxing and exclusive hotel to be in. I wouldn't say it was value for money but definitely worth a treat (£37 for two martini's and a diet coke is ridiculous, even for London). Having been told that the standard rooms are quite small, I booked a superior queen room. It was a decent size room and was very relaxing. However, our room was on the 2nd floor and the music from the Long Bar was very audible until 2:00am....which is why I've voted the hotel very 'family un-friendly' and should only be used if you intend to stay up late. Nice touches like designer dumb-bells, pashminas and rugs are available for use in your room (all available to take home, but at a hefty price!), as well as the legendary ceiling picture above the bed....which is strangely effective. Coming back to the room at night, our room was lit with candles....again, a nice touch.
We felt very special when coming back to the hotel on Friday evening. With people queuing outside just to get to the Long Bar, a doorman recognised us and promptly opened a door and ushered us through. The Long Bar was always very busy which is why we chose to drink in the small, yet stylish "Purple Bar" reserved for residents only.
Overall, a very nice two-night stay with good food, drinks, service, ambience and location.

Hotel bar very lively and good for people watching! Rooms a little noisy but make up for it in decor (picture on the ceiling!)

Staff = fun and young and energetic
Room = minimalist decor unsettling for older customer, bathroom open with glass partitions and net curtains, no privacy.
General areas - seating fun and funky but not comfortable. High stools at bar and in restaurant, ok for young people.
Residents bar = small and seats too low, but beautiful decor.
Lift = loved the lifts - starry sky theme.
Main restaurant = too pricy and to oriental taste (Malay).
Hotel good to visit ONCE for the experience.
