A large conference/banquet type hotel with many rooms and plenty of parking. The hotel facilities were of an high standard. The stay was on a Friday night and the common areas of the hotel were quiet and often deserted, although can imagine it being very busy mid-week with the large amount of conference suites available. There was to be 3 weddings on the Saturday so again I can guess it would be much busier. Room was comfortable and at £69.00 was well worth the cost. The village of Eastwood is a 10 mins walk from the hotel and offers local shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a morrisons supermarket with petrol station 2 minutes drive away. |

The hotel has a very businessy feel - there are a lot of conference rooms here. Spacious, modern accommodation. Quite a long walk to our room with our bags, but a helpful staff member who saw us struggling suggested we asked for a trolley for our return journey - we did, and it arrived promptly with a very helpful porter! We enjoyed the exercise classes. Very good breakfast with friendly waiting staff. The grounds are beautiful. |
