From M6, M62, M61 or M60 (formerly M63) follow the signs for Manchester Airport on to M56. Leave M56 at Junction 5 signposted Manchester Airport. Follow signs for Terminals 1 & 3 through the traffic lights. Then follow the purple signs on the road for Terminal 3 passing the international departures ramp. At the roundabout keep in the left lane and stay in this lane turning sharp left at the second roundabout. Take a car park ticket on entry to raise the barrier. The room was comfortable, the bar food was good, the only complaint was the room. Outside the window was the air conditioning or heating units - dont know which, and I had a bad night's sleep because of the constant hum of the machinery.
We got picked up from the train station with no problems at all and transported next morning to the terminal no problem.

On arrival at the hotel I went to the restaurant to ask what time they stopped serving as it was an evening arrival. I was informed that they served until 10pm. As I had not yet checked in I returned to the reception to check in and then took my luggage to my room. I then went to the restaurant and asked for a table. I was then asked if I had a reservation!! Why did they not suggest a reservation when I called in to ask how long they served until? As a resident of the Isle of Man it is always best for us NOT to make reservations in advance when going to the uk as sometimes the flights do not always take off.
