Delightful, small hotel in a lovely location. Friendly, polite staff. Food good, if a bit expensive and small to medium portions. Nevertheless I would stay there again, and recommend it to others. |

Something of an oasis in the area. It was attracive, comfortable and welcoming with good food, using fresh local ingredients, served by its friendly young owners and staff. My only slight dissappointment was that it is really a restaurant with rooms rather than an INN in the true sense of the word, with the bar effectively absorbed by table seating. |

The hotel was very nice, except for some oddities (toilet in a closet with very limited space to move). |

The inn is set in a an idylic location, overlooking the river. If you are into walking and rambling through the countryside, then this is the ideal choice for you. The room was adequate, with plenty of good quality furniture, but some slightly marked with usage. I would advice others, not to pay the extra cost of the breakfast as this was expensive and not worth £20 for the two breakfasts we had...one piece of bacon, one sausage, half a tomatoe, minute piece black pudding, one mushroom, one egg. toast and choice of cereals etc. Breakfast or lunch can always be taken in the nr by town of ely, with its many shops and restaurants. |

Great food and very helpful, friendly staff. No milk in the mini fridge for my morning cup of tea, but aside from that my stay was perfect. I plan to return at the next possible opportunity. |
