Staff were very helpful and friendly, the bedroom and public rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, the hotel and grounds are very pleasant.  A relaxed, peaceful atmosphere and the Spa and pool area are really lovely - a welcome bonus.  I ate a lightmeal on the terrace and it was very good.  Would definitely stay again.

If you are staying I would recommend you book a table in the restaurant. They didn't recommend this when we checked in, and the restaurant staff looked at us as though we were barking mad when we turned up for dinner. Hotel buildings and gardens are very impressive and the rooms are large and spacious. Spa is worth a visit. Had a few blips trying to get someone to serve at the bar, however, this was the same person who almost didn't let us into the restaurant so we put it down to one member of staff. Well worth a visit, would go back.
