Jurys Gt Russell St Hotel

Failed to mention renovation work ongoing above which was noisy. Reception did not direct us to the lifts for the room, and were constantly answering the phone delaying check in! Room was interior overlooking atrarium (not mentioned). Noisy hum/rattle constantly (presume air con).
Breakfast was very expensive albeit very good except for slow service. Had to ask for tea twice, and then it came in a coffee pot!!

Excellent position for Leicester Square / Piccadilly etc. Room fantastic, we were put in one of the newly refurbished rooms on the 6th floor and it was beautiful, well equipped and comfy - no complaints on the room at all. The concierge service was a bit impersonal and slow on the uptake to assist us, and we were also questioned by the concierge as to why we wanted them to get us a taxi given that it was only a 10 min walk - it was raining!
That aside, all was perfect and would definitely stay again and recommend the hotel to others. Cannot comment on the rest of the hotel as didnt use any of the other facilities.

Great location just off Oxford Street and only a 10 minute walk to Theatreland.

great entrance lobby and friendly desk staff, small room, tiny bathroom, all too hot and ineffective a/c, reported broken door handle at 6pm and was woken at 8am next morning by maintenance to fix it, ineffectual shower and bath too narrow - all clean and reasonable spec and great for £120, but poor quality for £200 which i paid - only recommended if the price is right

Helpful staff
