A lovely hotel (clean & well appointed), highly recommended as a week-end escape and beautifully positioned to explore the Cotswolds further. Moreton is a lovely small town with many excellent bars and places to dine, and the surrounding areas provide much to see and do. |

Lovely hotel, really pretty, cosy bedroom, friendly staff. Good location. A couple of health & safety points to be addressed in the room (which I left details of, so that the hotel could action). Very nice little place, but I would not recommend eating here. Both the room service order on day 1, and the breakfast delivered to the room day 2 were a disaster. It would take a side of A4 to go into detail - suffice to say it was totally unsatisfactory. Parents stayed with us, and apparently their breakfast in the dining room was similarly chaotic. How on earth has this establishment managed to obtain 2 red rosettes? It must be addressed, as the hotel itself is gorgeous, and the food and beverage aspects are letting it down. The waiters realised this and were totally embarrassed by the situation, which I got the impression was beyond their control. |

booked this hotel at the last minute and was very dissapointed by the hotel. The room was o.k, the shower and bath was terrible (hot water lasted two mins max and then went freezing cold) and the food was some of the worst food I have had in a long time. My dessert was meant to be a parfait but was deep fried filo pastry which had been cooked in the chip frier and tasted of fish chips. Terrible. |
